- 16 carrier-grade international gateway and domestic switching systems.

IP Telephony Network
Technology providers
Our core IP voice service utilises the Broadsoft technology, along with complementary and crucial components which enable Primus to provide a secure and scalable end-to-end solution.
Architecture
The Broadworks platform, as a carrier grade system, is fully redundant with automatic failover in the event of an outage on the primary system. Our customers’ endpoints are configured with a primary and secondary registration address, meaning that only in instances where a call setup is actually in progress will any outage be noticeable. Once a call is established, the endpoints speak directly to each other or to a PSTN gateway.
Resilience
The Primus platform is fully resilient and operates a five nines carrier-grade service. It is based on geographical redundant network architecture across two data centres and redundancy is built-in at every level.
